When should I suspend a website?
By suspending a website you will make site visitors unable to access the website, email accounts for that site will be unable to send and receive emails, and Site Tools and FTP access to the website will be deactivated.
Normally, clients suspend websites for 2 reasons – if their clients did not pay renewal or service fees and they need to shut them down without losing the content, or if they want to put the site under maintenance and decided not to bother placing “Under maintenance” page.
