Trips continued – Rome, Italy

rome_colosseum

You remember that I told you about the awards 35 people from our team won on our 2008 Christmas party? Good!

Well, trips continue! Last Friday, 14 people from our team went to Rome, Italy.  I was there too. Not only it was a great opportunity for a mini team building, but also we were able to visit remarkable landmarks such as the Colosseum – the largest amphitheatre ever built in the Roman Empire; the Roman forum – the central area around which the ancient Roman civilization developed; the Vatican City – the smallest country in the world by both population and area; the Trevi Fountain – the largest and most impressive Baroque fountain in the city, and many, many more.

Rome is a wonderful city with history that spans over two and a half thousand years and is one of the founding cities of Western Civilization. It is the third-most-visited tourist destination in the European Union and its historic centre is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

I can tell long stories about the amazing architecture and astounding atmosphere in Rome, but you better take a look at the pictures and try to feel the Roman spirit. If you have the opportunity to visit Rome, do not hesitate to do it.  We had the most passionate photographers in our group, so I bet you will enjoy the lovely photos we made. Check them out.

I need some information about a theme that you built called \siteground-wp52.\ The information I am looking for is some kind of FAQ's for the changes that can be made to the template. (if one exist). I noticed that you do not have a readme.txt file in your theme. Any help would be appreciated...by the way love the theme. Thanks JK

@ Gabriel Griffin It is quite easy, all you need to do is to upload the .pdf file in the public_html section and link it on your home page. The link should be http://www.poetryonthelake.org/FILE_NAME.pdf. Check this quick tutorial for further details: http://tinyurl.com/q7by8j Good luck!

Rome is an amazing place -- this Rome photo will transport you to the Eternal city if you haven't been there or are re-living that Rome vacation.
