WordCamp Europe Free Tickets

wceurope

Brace yourself, Europe! In October the SiteGround crew is coming for the biggest WordPress conference on the old continent – WordCamp Europe! And that’s not all – four of our clients will have the chance to win a free entry ticket for the event and be invited as VIP guests at the SiteGround booth and at a special SiteGround dinner.

For those of you who remember our recap from WordCamp San Francisco, WordCamp Europe promises to be its European counter part. Planned for quite some time by a bunch of WordPress enthusiasts from all parts of the continent, the event is finally happening in the beautiful town of Leiden, The Netherlands, for a whole three days in October. It’s an opportunity to welcome WordPress users from all over the globe to get together, geek-out, share experiences, do business, and of course, talk WordPress.

Three days of WordPress

That’s right, a whole three days of WordPress including presentations, impromptu sessions, ideas and inspiration and of course – lots of fun. The first two days are packed with presentations by curated speakers from all over the world, while the third day is dedicated to hands-on contributing to WordPress, as always at major WordCamp events.

Speakers from all over the world

The goal of the event was to showcase speakers from across Europe, but also to feature foreign presenters that people living in Europe would normally have to travel hours overseas to see. In the end, the organizers brought in an incredibly rich and diverse list of speakers, including WordPress co-founder Matt Mullenweg, the Founding Chief Technical Officer of Mashable.com Frederick Townes, the lead plugin developer and SEO specialist Joost de Valk of Yoast.com, Smashing Magazine co-founder Vitaly Friedman and many more. Looks like just the right environment for creating cross-European collaboration and collaboration with the wider international community.

Free Tickets and Surprises for SiteGround clients

All this being said, the most important ingredient of any WordCamp event are the people who attend it. There is no better place to meet, collaborate, have fun and really feel the vibe of the WordPress community than a WordCamp event. That’s why we want to offer four of you the chance to experience it.

We have four WordCamp Europe tickets to give away to WordPress clients. What is more, the winners will also have the chance to meet the SiteGround crew, be treated as special guests at our booth and talk about your experience, concerns and everything that interests you as SiteGround clients at a special dinner with the team. We can’t wait to meet you!

For your chance to win, simply tweet your reason to attend WordCamp Europe and include @SiteGround and the hashtag #wceu. You can compose your own tweet with these requirements or fill in your reason using the link below. The winners will be randomly picked amongst all properly filled in tweets within the next 5 days – by September 10th.

Glad you like it, Ivan. Unfortunately, the offer is valid only for the entry tickets for WordCamp Europe, so , yes - the winners will need to cover their stay and travel expenses. If you're picked as a winner, you can decide how to use your ticket and we'd love to meet more people who are interested in building websites with WordPress.
