How to Add a Link to a Specific Section on a Page

You can create direct links to specific sections and place them anywhere on your site, such as in the main menu, footer, buttons, or within text. This feature enhances user experience by enabling quick access to important information without requiring visitors to scroll through the entire page. It is particularly useful for single-page websites, where it helps users navigate efficiently.
Creating a Section Anchor ID
To add a link to a specific section on a page, go to the Site Builder and click Customize.
Next, navigate to the page that contains the section you want to link to, and select it.
In the top right corner of the section, you’ll see the Section Tools. Click the three-dot icon to open the settings menu.
Click Section Anchor ID from the menu which will appear.
Next, enter a name for this Section Anchor.
Your Section Anchor ID has been created and can now be added to menus, buttons, or text.
Add Section Link to Main Menu
To add the section link to the main menu, navigate to the Navigation tab and click New Item.
Next, ensure the Link Type is set to Page and that Select Page is set to the page containing the section you want to link to. In the Section ID dropdown, select the section you wish to link, using the name that was set up in a previous step. Assign a name to this menu item, which will appear in the menu, and choose Main Navigation as its placement.
Add Section Link to Footer
To add the section link to the Footer Links, navigate to the Navigation tab and click New Item.
Next, ensure the Link Type is set to Page and that Select Page is set to the page containing the section you want to link to. In the Section ID dropdown, select the section you wish to link, using the name that was set up in a previous step. Assign a name to this menu item, which will appear in the menu, and choose Footer Links as its placement.
Add Section Link to Buttons
To add the section link to a button, navigate to the Content tab and click on the page where you want to link your section.
Next, click on the button where you want to add the section link and click the Hyperlink button.
Next, in the dialog, select A page in your website. Then, use the Link to dropdown to choose the page that contains the desired section, and select the specific section from the Section ID dropdown.
Add Section Link Within Text
To add the section link within text, navigate to the Content tab and click on the page where you want to link your section.
Next, select the text where you want to insert the section link and click the Hyperlink button.
Next, in the dialog, select A page in your website. Then, use the Link to dropdown to choose the page that contains the desired section, and select the specific section from the Section ID dropdown.
