How to Add a New Product
Your product catalog is the core of your store. Follow the steps below to learn how to add products to your store.
- Open the Site Admin > Store Manager > Products section.
- Click on the New Product button in the upper right corner.
- Add the Details – Product Name, Description, and Classification. SiteGround Ecommerce suggests a classification for your product. If it matches, simply click the tick sign or select another group for your product from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down and click on the “+ Add” sign to add your Product images.
- Scrolling down further, you can specify the type of product you are selling — Physical, Downloadable, or Service (N0n-Digital).
- If your product doesn’t have any variable attributes, select No variations next to the type of product.
- Once you’ve added the attributes for your product, scroll down to set Pricing & Inventory.
- Click Save in the upper right corner to save the product in your store.
- A pop-up will appear where you can choose whether to Save and Publish the product on your store or keep it as a draft.
And there you have it! Your first product is live and ready to sell with SiteGround Ecommerce.
