What’s the Maximum File Size I Can Upload to AI Studio?
You can upload files up to 20 MB (each) in size to AI Studio.
If a file exceeds this limit, you’ll see an error message when trying to upload it.
To proceed, try reducing the file size or splitting it into smaller parts before uploading again.
Large resolution files will be downscaled to optimize their processing by the AI models. This eliminates unnecessary token usage without compromising image quality.
You can upload up to 3 files per message. Please note that larger files or complex documents may take longer to process.
All uploaded files can be viewed and managed in the Files section of your AI Studio interface.
