How to change the layout of my site’s menu

Types of Menu Layouts

When designing your website, you can choose between two types of menu layouts to organize your navigation effectively: the Mega Menu and the Dropdown Menu, which differ in the way the nested (submenus) items are organized.

Menu types options in Website Builder

Mega Menu

The Mega Menu layout allows you to display submenus in up to four columns, making it ideal for websites with extensive navigation options.

If your site includes multiple levels of submenus, they will be organized under their respective parent items for easy access and a structured appearance.

Dropdown Menu

The Dropdown Menu presents your submenus in a single column. This layout is suitable for simpler navigation structures.

As you hover over a menu item that contains nested submenus, the additional levels will appear, providing a clean and straightforward user experience.

How to change the menu layout

To change the header menu layout, follow these instructions:

  1. Click Edit Website in Site Admin > Website Builder.

  2. Navigate to the page’s Header section in the visual editor.
  3. Click on the header menu component.
  4. In the pop-up Edit Menu Type window, choose between Mega Menu and Dropdown Menu as your preferred navigation style.

How to change the menu layout (Classic Builder)

To change the menu layout, click on Header within the Pages tab.

In the Header settings, choose the Menu Type that best suits your site’s navigation needs.
