We currently have two builder versions: one for sites created before March 4th and another for sites created after this date. Sites still using the older builder will be automatically migrated to the newer version soon. If your site hasn’t been migrated yet, please refer to the Classic Builder section below.

A page section is an individual content block within your page layout, allowing you to structure and organize content like text, images, and features. Below, you’ll learn how to delete a page section, with steps for both the current SiteGround Website Builder as well as the Classic Builder.

  1. To delete a section, first go to Site Admin > Website Builder, and press the Edit Website button.
Dashboard of the SiteGround Website Builder showing a live "REAL' ORGANIC" store with an "EDIT WEBSITE" button.
  2. Go to the page where you wish to make adjustments.
The Pages menu in the website editor with the "Contact us" page selected, showing the contact form and details.
  3. After selecting the section, a toolbar with the delete option will appear top-right.
A "Delete Section" tooltip and trashcan icon highlighted over a content block on a "Contact Us" page in the website editor.

Please be aware that the section will be immediately deleted. If you accidentally delete a section, you can undo the change using the revert button at the top.
