How to Enable and Disable Pages

IMPORTANT! We currently have two builder versions: one for sites created before March 4, 2026, and another for sites created after this date. Sites still using the older builder will be automatically migrated to the newer version soon. If your site hasn’t been migrated yet, please refer to the Classic Builder section below.

At some point, you may need to temporarily deactivate a page and reactivate it later. SiteGround Ecommerce & Website Builder lets you disable pages easily without deleting them, so that you can use them later.

This guide will show you how to enable or disable pages on your online store or website.

How to View All Pages

  1. Inside your website’s Site Admin, click on Edit Website.

  2. Open the Pages tab, where you can see all published and draft pages under the General Pages section.

How to Enable Pages

The following steps show you how to enable draft pages and publish them live on your website or online store.

  1. From the Pages tab, hover over one of the draft pages under General Pages.
  2. Click on its Settings (kebab) menu.
  3. Select Make Live to publish the page.

Alternatively, you can enable a page from its general settings.

  1. Hover over the page to see the Settings (kebab) menu.
  2. Choose General.

  3. Open the Page Status drop-down menu.
  4. Select Live to publish the page.

  5. On the following pop-up window, press Publish to confirm

How to Disable Pages

Here is how you can disable live pages on your website. Note that the pages will be unpublished but won’t be deleted. Their status will change to Draft.

  1. Open the Pages tab.
  2. Hover over a live page listed under General Pages.
  3. Click on its Settings (kebab) menu.
  4. Select Make Draft to disable the page.

You can also disable a page from its general settings.

  1. Hover over the page and open its Settings (kebab) menu.
  2. Select General.

  3. Open the Page Status drop-down menu.
  4. Select Draft to unpublish the page.

  5. On the following pop-up window, press Unpublish to confirm.

How to View All Pages

  1. Inside your website’s Site Admin, click on Edit Website.

  2. Click on the Settings (cog) icon.

How to Disable Pages
