Are My Uploaded Files Sent to the Model?
When you upload a file to AI Studio, it’s securely stored in your account. Files are only sent to the AI model when needed for processing, such as when you ask the model to analyze or extract information from them.
All files are typically converted to plain text (except for image files) before sending them to the AI model to make the content accessible to LLMs. Your files will not be used by the LLM for training purposes, but only to process the specific request you’ve made.
Your files remain private and accessible only within your AI Studio account.
