How to set a Subscribe page in SiteGround Email Marketing

SiteGround Email Marketing allows you to create a Subscribe page through which visitors can easily sign up for your marketing campaigns. This is a simple and effective way to increase contact acquisition and expand your marketing operations.

In this guide you’ll learn what is the Subscribe page, how it works and how to set it up.

A Subscribe page is a standalone web page connected to your Email Marketing platform. On it, visitors will find a contact form prompting them to fill in their contact information.

Once they submit the form, they will see a “Thank You” page.

From this moment, these visitors will become subscribers in the Contacts section in Email Marketing and start receiving your future marketing campaigns.

The Subscribe page is automatically connected to the Web Version page of your campaigns. Visitors of the web version page that clicked on its Subscribe button will be taken to the Subscribe page.

The Subscribe page can also be used as a standalone page. You can share its link on social networks, other platforms, and websites.

How to set up a Subscribe Page

The Subscribe Page is enabled in SiteGround Email Marketing by default. However, you are able to customize it to better suit your business needs.

Here is how you can do that:

  1. Log into your Client Area > Services > Email Marketing.
  2. Click on the Manage button of the selected service.
  3. Go to Contacts > Subscribe page.

The Subscribe page has four settings that we will examine below.

Page URL

This is the public URL link of the Subscribe page. It is automatically generated by the system and cannot be changed. You can copy the link and share it on social media, websites and other platforms.

Press the Copy icon next to the address to copy it.

Contact Groups

This is a drop-down menu of all existing Groups in your Email Marketing. From this menu you can choose the groups that will be assigned to all new contacts that subscribed to your campaigns from the Subscribe page.

If you wish to create a new group dedicated to the Subscribe page, click the Add new group button.

You can choose multiple groups. To confirm your choice, press Save.

Privacy Policy

If you have created a privacy policy page, you can attach its link to the Subscribe page. It will instill trust in your visitors that their information is fairly processed and protected. Once you’ve entered the privacy policy page address, click Save.

Thank You Page Message

Once visitors subscribe to your campaigns through the Subscribe page, they will be taken to a “Thank you” page. You can add your personal touch by customizing the message in the Successful subscription message field. To confirm the new message, press Save.
