Web Version Page of campaigns in SiteGround Email Marketing

Web Version Page of campaigns in SiteGround Email Marketing

SiteGround Email Marketing generates a web version page of every campaign you’ve created. This page is accessible to everyone, allowing you to expand the outreach and visibility of your campaigns and attract new audiences beyond your current mailing list.

This guide will teach you how to view the web version page for every campaign and how to add a “View this email in your browser” link to your new campaigns.

A web version page is a version of your email campaign designed to be displayed in browsers. SiteGround Email Marketing generates a public link for this page that everyone can access. It retains the original design of your marketing campaign but adds minor differences.

  • Unlike the email version, the web version page doesn’t contain an Unsubscribe link in the footer.
  • The web version page has a Subscribe button in the page header, leading visitors to a Subscribe page for your newsletter.

NOTE! A web version page is automatically generated only for sent or scheduled campaigns. If you edit and re-schedule a campaign, the web version page will inherit the changes.

How to add a “View email in browser” link to a campaign

While building your email, you can opt to include a “View email in your browser” link in the email footer. Recipients can use this link to view the web version page of the campaign in their browsers or share it with other visitors who are not subscribed to your newsletter.

Here is how you can add such a link to your campaign.

  1. Log into your Client Area > Service > Email Marketing.
  2. Press the Manage button of the selected Email Marketing service.
  3. Navigate to Campaigns.
  4. Open the Email Builder. To do that, click on the New Campaign button to start building a new campaign, or edit an existing draft by clicking on its name or its Actions menu > Edit.
