To update any of your components, modules or plugins access your Joomla! administrator panel and then go to Update -> Extensions.
Joomla! will show you a list of all extensions that have a new version.
To update the plugin, place a check next to the plugin name and press the Update button at the top left part of the page.

First, access your Joomla! 3 admin page and go to Extensions > Manage > Update.
